Hi everyone,
I'm Tom, since June living in Texas now. I'm originally from Germany, so please excuse, my English isn't perfect.
Immigrated to Canada in 2009 and now to Texas. Started truck driving 33 years ago, hauling freight all over Europe, vans, tankers, reefers, flatbeds, heavy and oversize loads...
Currently hauling a skateboard and oversize loads in the US and Canada.
My wife is always with me since I started truck driving in Canada and the States. We've been in all Canadian provinces and all lower 48 states.
Greets,
Tom

Willkommen Sie im forum Kraut!
You went from cold to hot. What made you pick Texas? The Kraut Thanks this. -
Thanks for your "Willkommen"
My wife and I like it hot
The company I was working for in Canada has another office, yard and trucks down here in San Angelo. My boss offered me a job here or in South Carolina (they open a new yard there) but we prefer the climate here, it's not so humid.
After a few ########## cold winters in Canada we were so happy to move down south.
Canada is not bad but since we were driving to the States we knew, that's the country where we wanna live.
Fortunately we got a Green Card this year and are now permanent resident aliens
