I have been doing the crude hauling a couple months now, and we are only getting busier! My company has a shortage of drivers, so we are using guys from other terminals to get by. All the companies are hiring right now. My company offers hourly pay, 2 days off a week, and great benefits! I am not a recruiter but I can direct you to one. This is easy work and will be around for a long time! Message me for details. We also got a contract to haul propane.

I noticed the old CEO that left/was booted out of Chesapeake just raised a bunch of Wall Street money and he is moving into the Ohio area to start operations. That is a great sign.

Ya I'm not sure on that one sir, was that sarcasm? I don't know what's going on, I just know they're drilling away and putting new wells online everyday. And it sure beats the Texas heat and the north Dakota brutal winters.

LOL!!! I could see how that would be interpreted from my statement. No it was not sarcasm, the fact he could leave under those conditions and still raise all that money from Wall Street just shows the interest in this industry. He turned a small investment into a huge company so the fact he picked Ohio out of all the other locations to start a new company is very positive for Ohio.

A gig in Ohio might be ok, however there have been many time when I was grilling in the back yard in Austin while my sister in Ohio was shoveling snow to get out of her driveway.

The winters here havent been too bad for the most part. they do require a hazmat/tanker/ and twic, but those can be got while training I think. They do require 2 years experience. We have day cab trucks so I don't know if they would hire out of this area or not. Our terminal is in steubenville Ohio area.
