Well, looks like the gremlins have been at work on my truck again, was in Sheldon getting a b service and new drive tires, and headed to storm lake to grab my load for Abington and somewhere in Georgia. Had to make it a "red eye" run due to the delay at the shop since the truck required a bit of work, and got as far as Missouri line on 218 when the turn signal switch decided to quit. Made it REAL fun getting through St. Louis traffic , and managed to get into Troy, I'll at the kw place to get a new switch put in, completed my 10, and headed out. Then, about 50 miles from my first drop, I get the dreaded check engine light ....grrrr. I'm hoping maybe after my final they can maybe get me into kw in Harrisonburg, and get home afterwords. I'm glad I finally got to put in for my vacation, but delta screwed up my frequent flyer ticket, gotta love customer service at those airlines... Fun people....NOT!! Lol. I gotta give some credit to Ron & mike for getting things to straighten out over that switch, it gets scary trying to get through traffic without turn signals, and I wasn't gonna lose a good paying load because of a lousy switch.

Getting loaded up here in Mount Vernon,Wa with stinky old chicken parts. Feel like I've been empty for about a week but of course it's only been about a day and a half. This load is going to Crete,Ne but I say its 50/50 as to whether or not I actually stick with it to deliver. Heard there's plenty of freight heading back east which suits me fine I'm ready for a few days off. Be safe out there boys.

Yeah, my primary thing right now is making sure my vacation goes right...., any, well, "career" decisions I make in the near future can wait until after that, provided the ***** customer service at the airlines gets my flier miles issue cleared up.... I'm thinking maybe next trip I might use a foreign airline like Lufthansa or Thai airways, the US carriers have a habit of treating passengers like cattle. I've had decent experience with Delta, but the food on those planes isn't fit to feed a billy goat (I wound up blowing major chunks into the Porcelain God last time...bleeccchhh!). Waiting to see what Cory has in mind, staying out this weekend so I can get a big weekend off next week... Time to go to the doc's again..

Look into Jet Blue Spyder, I've flown them before and was quite impressed. We flew Delta to Puerto Rico last month and by the time it was said and done I wanted to throw someone off of a cliff. And to make it worse they sent my wife an email a few weeks ago offering a $50 gift card to a store of our choosing for our troubles. As much baloney we had to deal with our tickets should've had a MAJOR upgrade.

Well been running my ### off for 2 weeks so I'm taking advantage of a lil slow down. Picked up a 3 dropper in Le Mars yesterday delivered first drop in Coralville this morning. Drop 2 is Hurricane, Wv on Wednesday and Salem, Va on Thursday. That will make 18 days out for me which means time to go home for a few days. Last time I was home I washed and polished the Harley maybe this time I will actually ride it. Truck it safe out there drivers.
