Where do you live anyhow? What part of Houston?

 

Baytown actually. We wanted to move towards Seabrook but we couldn't find a place before school started, so now, we are gonna stick out the school year here.

 

I live in Seabrook..........

 

We love Galveston and Seabrook was as close to Galveston that I was willing to commute, given the traffic in Kemah in the evenings.

If your interested, I happen to know a nice family to take care of your place while your on the road and your foot is all healed!

I haven't had my own place since Ike came through in '08 and destroyed my apartment. They didn't get it habitable again until May of '09, and my lease was up in Nov '08, so I just stayed at my folks. I started OTR in Feb '09 so I saw no point in getting another place, since I'd never be home.

This is actually the longest I've been home since I started trucking, because most times I took off more than 2 weeks, I was in a different state at least half of it lol

 

So you grew up in Seabrook then. Well maybe I'll call on you for advice about neighborhoods next year if we consider buying there.


You want to have some drinks this weekend? I wouldn't mind picking your brain, you've got enough experience but still enough newness to the industry that I think you'll be very understanding of current market conditions that you'd be really helpful.

 

Yeah, I was thinking about maybe a DisAstros game, but they're in Oakland this weekend. The next Lastros home game is next weekend.

I don't know if you like soccer, but I've been wanting to catch a Dynamo game, and they are at home on Sunday?
