I currently drive for Maverick and am looking at other flatbed companies such as TMC. Any idea what the pay rate is? I make .49$ at Maverick. Is it reasonable to expect the same or lower with two years experience? Thank you.

I can tell you that you won't make that at TMC.. or Lonestar. Many drivers jumped from TMC to Lonestar.. and they started out, generally, at .42 at Lonestar, which I was told was higher than TMC.. but one of them would have to verify that for you to be sure.

I truly didn't know Maverick paid that much. But our % is the best out there(tmc). You would start at 27% and then it would be up to you after the first month. It goes up to 32% but its tuff to get up there. 29-30% is very abstain able . Which I run specialize and your jaw would probably drop if you seen my pay checks.

No your mileage rate would be lower but on percentage you would average more. I just figured my last two weeks and over that period I average 62.5 cpm.

.49 cpm ????? !!!!!! wow when did they go up that much? when i was there it was 42 cpm. Why are you thinking about leaving Maverick?? of the big company's i have worked for they were the best IMO.

Two years ago, I started at .40$, and was given a raise of .03$ every 6 months. With the performance package, I make .54$. I also haul glass. Where are the TMC yards at?

hey rigbuilder, take it from a fellow maverick thats drove for turtles moving cargo, your much better off here I was there 2yrs and have a pot full of horror stories some of mine and some of friends that also worked there. all I can really say is do ya wanna be a person or a truck number???????

this is just straight funny. But you are right most that can't make it at TMC end up at Maverick. But if a guy applies himself and knows how to hustle there is a huge difference in a tmc to maverick pay check. Huge.

alot must have changed in 4yrs because I done percentage and cpm with them would have to go back and look but avg was 800-900wk. keep in mind this was 2008-part of 2010. they never done me wrong but money wise my .50-.56cpm depending if I have a student, is much better constant 1100-1300 banked each week.
