avoid tolls jersey to Manhattan. How?

All the construction over there right now its going to be ###### near impossible. Where are you going?

 

You can get into most of NYC from the GWB. But the "free" bridge between Manhattan & Queens is a traffic nightmare.

Better off paying to get to Long Island, and charging the customer the extra expense.

 

278 to 495 West--1st exit Van Dam St--rt@lite to end-Queens Blvd--left follow onto lower roadway 59th st (queensboro)bridge--over bridge three lefts@2d left U MUST BE IN MIDDLE LANE-3D left is back under bridge onto 3dvAve follow all the way north into Bronx as soon as cross river into Bronx left onto 87N follow signs to 95South--over GWB voila into Jersey no tolls--have fun

Actually when u swing under the bridge its 2d by the time u get up in the low hundreds 1-2&3 have all become one--but at the bridge 1st is still runnin in front of the UN and u can't get all the way down there from the swing around
Course now ur gonna make me double check next time--lol--been doin it so long can't remember last time I looked at signs--but I Promise uYou if u follow directions I gave you'll b ok the whole key is making the FIRST 3 lefts as u come off the bridge

I went to Red Hook once, and that was enough for me. That being said, I took the easiest and fastest (definitely not the cheapest) way out since my dm hated NYC as much as I did.

 

I'm curious , how long will that take?
