Funny I chose this amount cause last week's average fuel is in this range
-
It seems low. Most companies are up towards .50cpm. Kind of a trade off, they give you more on the linehaul rate.
Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this. -
Yeah I have a friend with kllm and he gets $.55 but only on loaded miles over all I made more then him since I got loaded and mty. It would make it easier for a set rate but I've not had issues. It is based on the department of energy and their set rates. Either way it all evens out in the wash.Pound Puppy Thanks this.

Just an update: Put my truck in the shop last week and had engine looked over and turned out there was no visual signs to have the overhead done on my motor. But I did go ahead and have a brand new air compressor installed on my truck and had to get the turbo drain pipe repaired as I was leaking oil from a worn out hose. So after 4 days down I was able to finally get back rolling and delivered to Hattiesburg, MS. and then deadheaded over to Trussville, AL. to pickup a load going up to Whitestown, IN. to drop & hook to a load that I just delivered yesterday in Fort Collins, CO. Afterwards I deadheaded down to Broomfield, CO. and picked up a load going to Durant, OK. which I will deliver this afternoon!!

Wish I was having your engine luck. Im in Inianapolis with a blown head gasket, possibly a cracked head, wont be sure til its pressure tested. Been here a week so far.

Ouch!! I feel your pain!!! Hopefully they narrow down your engine problem and get you back on the road ASAP!! -
Delivered to Big Lots in Durant, OK., then bobtailed down to Dallas, TX. so I can pickup a load from sears sometime around noon today (Wednesday). Will be taking that load to Olive Branch, MS. then shooting over to Comtrak Headquarters on Memphis to get my QualComm replaced and to take care of other items while I'm there!

Sounds like a good company,do you know if comtrak would consider someone that's been away from tractor trailer for over 4 years? I'm looking to get back into otr,but some companies wont accept me,thanks for the help.

I think you need at least 1 year current otr exp. Most insurance companies won't cover someone that's been off the try ck for 3 or more years unless they are a trainer company then they will send you with a trainer for a couple of weeks to refresh you. Sorry
