Buy your own trucks and hire company drivers.......... L/p ing a truck with 700k is always going to have drama attached . And those prices seem high.

BBB do these l/p guys that pull for you have workers comp ? If not wait till one gets hurt at a good customer's facility ......

My business model is not built around company drivers so no interest in that.

We are not leasing any trucks nor do we plan to. Anyone that has an arrangement like this is with an outside source. Liability is one of the big reason we stop exploring it in the past.

Erin, before you even leased on with F2F no less than 3 of us got burned on loads by your contact. The loads were never supposed to be put on outside carriers but that shyster only cares about $$$$ not pesky contractual obligations. The loads you were hauling were never supposed to be brokered out and the customer caught them, now it's a huge mess. The point here, that agent has been on the "we do not haul for these liars" for almost 2 years now. Have a little class about yourself when you quit somewhere or get fired. Burning bridges never accomplishes anything and prospective companies hiring see someone bad mouthing previous company as a huge red flag in a prospect. It's unfortunate what happened but that one agent and your own actions just about cost a lot of people, other than just yourself, a lot of money. Maybe one day if you get your own authority you will understand the difficulty of dealing with shysters when there's no guarantee you're gonna get a check for your effort. That's one nice thing about being leased on, the check comes in 15 days regardless. Wish you the best in your endeavors.

Bill, your enthusiasm is almost contagious.

But that's ok. We'll beat that out of you in no time.

Bill, no one can accuse you of not being a very smooth talker. Thanks for wishing me luck, I likewise extend that to anyone doing business with you. For my part, I will be very happy to stay busy running my truck and making money...which is why I am rarely on here. Mostly I observe over in the tech sections.

Good luck to you as well.

That was me, Chris, wishing you well. I predict your new carrier will blacklist your contact in short order. They've proven time and time again their word means nothing and a tiger don't change it's stripes.
