I listen to satellite radio all the time, every day.
Comedy Channel
News Radio
Talk Radio
Trucker Channel
Ozzy's Boneyard
Grateful Dead Channel
And the amazing thing is I HATED the Grateful Dead for years. Then I started driving a semi. I discovered it makes excellent cruising music. Now I kinda like it. Guess I'm getting weirder the older I get. LOL
What do you listen to the most while you're driving?

I like to listen to anything that increases my knowledge about physics, euclidean geometry, quantum fields, string theory and wealth building. BUT I only listen to those things very quietly because I believe it is a safety issue to not be able to hear my tractor and trailer sounds.

I listen to my ham radios; Yaesu 857D or Kenwood TS 480Hx and Kenwood D710A (aprs). Unlike others, I monitor my CB as long as I am on line 3: It tickles me to read from drivers who post complaining that CB has too much profanity or other negatives, yet the same complainers listen to XM/ Sirius radio and have some form of Cable/Satellite TV. Heck, compared to 3-6yrs ago, and many of the old timers getting out of trucking, you are lucky to hear any conversation at all while driving. Now, a few truck stops are a different matter. It is usually there that you will hear drivers and some locals unwinding towards the end of the day and you might get cursed at but CB radio is not this evil device as many drivers make it out to be. I'd rather have it on monitoring, asking questions while receiving and giving other drivers advanced warnings to problematic situations than having it turned off. I have been off for a while now and having time to watch HBO/Showtime and many other so called family oriented programs that show jaw dropping things and insinuate things far worse than what you only hear on a CB. Some Television commercials now days are many times worse than what you hear on a CB radio and so is many XM Sirius programs!
btw: For the life of me, I can not figure out why channel 19 is the only channel recognized as a monitoring band. If it (19)is that bad, years ago other channels should have been designated alternative channels to go to for getting out and receiving information. Drivers should be able to instantly communicate and respond to ever changing events and situations on the road. I end by saying that I have been saved by the bad CB radio while monitoring and hearing caring drivers give out alerts to dangers laying ahead of me. Besides (like gun's) the CB radio isn't bad, it is the end user!Dave 1960 Thanks this. -
I listen to a lot of podcasts, audiobooks (via audible.com) and, when I get home next week and open the package, SiriusXM.

I listen to the engine... With a trainer, I'm not allowed to listen to much of anything, especially while he sleeps.
