A current CVSA sticker on the tractor is always an ace in the hole. Not a guarantee but will more often then not be in your favor when their looking for "wave off" criteria.

That's a good thing you should be left alone for awhile.

The other posters are correct in saying that it is a ace in the hole and you should be left alone, BUT, back in the day when this sticker stuff started, I heard of drivers saying that they would get a sticker and the next state would inspect them even though they just got an inspection and the previous sticker didn't mean anything to them, I hope that it is all done with.......

The further EAST you get the less that sticker means--just the way it is--dont ask me why--in my case Ive had better luck these last few years--w/a PA based truck/trailer--and have been told by some of the tougher DOT types--that since PA inspection in twice a year--and tougher than a standard FMCSA year inspection--the little sticker on my windshield carries more weight with them..But don't sweat it--jus head home and get the damaged squared away....
On the bright side--in todays new CSA(BS)point world--a few extra level one's with passing results--are good for YOU and your company
    Good luck

I got a sticker on Tuesday of one week and later that week on Friday got another inspection level 1. It means nothing.
