They always say 2 weeks. I think it was 3 for me (that time was all a blur due to issues with the X job).
I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you don't get the "e-mail" you are fine. They would tell you if you didn't get the job.
Walmart here I come!

Got everything else ready to go just waiting on that #### thing. My terminal manager is a hellva good guy treats me like gold just cant offer me what walmart can to stay. I told him I was going to try and get on over there and told him I wanted to get everything all practiced up and perfect case I get the call. I run a day cab ltl so hes gonna send me down the new freightliner sleeper truck with a 53 to run my run with so I can brush up on driving a sleeper truck again for the road test case I get the call. figure if I can run my run and get into all the tight places I go with that thing I should do just fine on the road test lol.

crislinc don't worry no news is good news. The holiday most likely slowed down the process or one of the prior companies you have worked for did not send back the information yet. Bentonville will call you if something comes back with any issues. If you had any accidents or incidents I hope you listed them, no matter how small they were, that disqualified me the first time for something so small the cops would not even show up and was a non preventable. It worked out better anyway because now I got hired by the dc just 10 or 15 minutes from my house. Tell them everything unless it is a parking summons/ticket or overweight. Those are the only two items the ap clearly states you don't have to list. If you were honest about everything on that ap they will call, you have no worries.

Relax. You will get your new license with hazmat long before it will be needed. Walmart does not check to see you have a hazmat endorsement until you go for the first interview. Since you just applied and the ad for Plainview is still up for another 2 days, you will be fine. Walmart likely would not be calling you in the next 30 days, so you will be fine. I had the same dilemma when I applied to Walmart on May 21st. I went and renewed my hazmat endorsement on May 28th. I received my new license with hazmat endorsement on June 13th. Walmart called me on June 28th to set up an interview on July 15th. It wasn't until that day that my hazmat endorsement was verified by the GTM at the DC physically looking at my license to see I had the hazmat endorsement.

thanks for that tom I actually haven't applied yet was worried they would say I was being dishonest for not having it on there when I applied. its not a renewal im adding it. the company I work for doesn't require it so when they started the back ground check I let mine expire didn't see a need to pay the money for something I wasn't using. that's been a few years ago
-
I did the same too. I didn't bother to pay and keep my hazmat on my CDL when I renewed it in March 2012 because my employer did not require it for the account I was assigned to. When I went to add the hazmat back on, it was treated like an endorsement add-on. You will get the background check back from TSA within 30 days.
Keep in mind, the application you will submit online is not official until you sign it at the first interview. You will also have the one and only chance to add and/or correct anything on the application prior to signing it. Nothing on the application will be verified until after that first interview. Since you have already passed the hazmat test and are justing waiting on the background check, you are fine. If anything you state on the application is true on the day you sign it, you have not lied about anything.
If you plan on applying for the Plainview opening, do it by the end of the day Sunday 9-8-13. Monday is day 29 since it was posted, so even if you still see it online, it will likely say the posting is closed when you click on it. The job postings only stay active for 28 days. Do not wait!

Big congrats to you! I just finished my second week and can now relate to what others have said. It really is a different world here!
