You can't afford not to get paid either, and a month and a half without pay is beyond ridiculous. I'd tell them that all the back pay has to be in your account by no later than 5 PM this Wednesday. If it's not, I'd call my state's labor department (most states have very serious laws about unpaid wages) and talk to a lawyer. If they aren't going to pay you why should they expect you to be liable for the $5k school?

They claim it was done in advances. Somehow I pulled 2 grand worth last week. I rember pulling 160, not sure where the rest is. But they did just get a new payroll system. I have no idea. I have less then 6 months exp, and to be honest am afraid to quit. We where told that if we quit while owing them money that they could sue the company that we went and worked for. And, I live in fl and from reading the forums on here today it looks like alot of companys do not hire outta here.

Is FFE trying to get the $5000.00 from you in one lump sum????????????
Never let a company take advantage of you........FFE owes you!!!!!! -
No they say that we have to pay that before Pine Bluff truck driving school which is the school they send us to get our CDL will not release our grad papers intill we pay the money. And with no papers from the school I can not give them to anthor company. -
I retract my previous statement... still holds true that this is teh first bad I've heard of FFE but man... they are owning you.
PMing you on companies hiring out of florida... -
As you can see I had to change my name, it seems that my company watchs these forums. -
That I'm not sure about. I want to say no they can't, but without being able to read your contract I can't say for sure. You could bring that up to a potential hiring company, they may be able to help you out. Just watch what you sign with them.

They Merely Are Sponging Off Of Drivers, Pocketing The Reefer Fuel Money While We Don't See Any Of It; Yet Alone, The Tolls. They Aggressively Advertise To Recruit More Victims Into Their Scam. It Ain't Worth It, Folks!

yes they can sue another company if you are under contract (but what will happen is the company will let you go so they dont get sued)

Hey Warewolf,
I see that you must also be an FFE driver. I get them annoying "Hey come check out our brand new volvos post haste, only 12 left this month they are going fast messages" ( Copy of whats on my Qualcom) lol. Luckly, after I mentioned i had under a year of OTR they stoped sending me messages. I was not aware of them makin you pay for the reffer fuel, thats BS. Do they make you guys rent the trls also?
