is it every trailer your pulling?? might not be your truck just a thought... also might double check your glad hands I've seen them be off just a hair and cause enough leak that over a 10 hour break it would set your trailer brakes off.. but I'd double check my connections and your emergency line(red) and see there before I'd shell out a #### load of money for someone to look at it.. just my 2 sense.. not trying to say your dummy or anything like that just offering help :)

I may be misunderstanding your post, but it sounds to me like you are leaving your trailer brakes released (using only the parking brakes on the tractor) during your 10 hour break, right?

When you stop for your 10 hour break next time, set them both. I can pretty much guarantee you that you won't lose much air then. There's no telling how many tiny air leaks some of these trailers have, could be anything from a glad hand to a little fitting somewhere that was over-tightened when the trailer was first built and a small amount of air escapes over time, even though you might not be able to hear it. Remember that when the button is pushed in, air pressure is being applied to the system to keep the brakes released. It's constantly trying to find a way out.

I didn't see an answer to the question whether or not the lease trucks are governed.

If so, at what speed ??

very, very well.....could not be happier.
right this minute, within 50 miles of Amherst OH there are 28 shipment to be picked up by tomorrow.
The best paying is $3.86 / mi, but it's only 71 miles (but, hey, $274 to go 71 miles ain't bad money if you asked me).
The rest are in the $1.60 - $2.00 range.....400-500 LOH.

Man, I wish I lived in Ohio.......lots 'o freight in Ohio.

    Get ya some......

    Pound Puppy Thanks this.
