Yea I should've mentioned in my last post that the average mileage pay was $1.43. I'll get all the specifics when I call the company tomorrow to ask. Thanks for your help

    Money to be made????

    $1.43 per mile average

    No....

Unless you own the company and lease suckers on to haul specialized freight paying them peanuts to do it...

I agree the 1.43 avg is really low .. For Tank even for - food grade tank .
At that rate I'd assume your gonna be doing at least 40% deadhead for free maybe even more

Whose numbers say $1.69 average? You realize unless they have hard data from their operators on actual hub miles, which no company out here has true numbers like that... ...that number was just created out of thin air? Very few o/o even know their real avg they dont even keep books... regardless $1.69 in true miles is still really low, especially for specialized work its embarrassing cheap.

Most tanker outfits on ALL Miles - @ 63-65% you should be in the 1.85- 1.95 range , that's not counting any Pump , Air , Detention pays which should put you over 1.90 to 2.00 that's all miles off the hub . That's where you should look to be . That's including all deadhead - to tank washes and reloads etc .

Another thing to ask is if they pay you to sit and wash out - some do and some don't . Pay I've seen for this ranges from 20 to 40 ( for washout time ) but most pay 0 .
