fan engages as soon as engine turns over and stays on. will try shop air to fan when near shop. hope thats it, clutch is only months old, so should be warranty job

Had the same issue with the continuously running fan. Turned out to be a stuck open thermostat. Have it checked ASAP because the CAT's are designed to run warm (at least my 3406E).

I'll second Heavyd on looking to see if you have a bad a/c high pressure sensor.

Just my penny for thoughts.....if the high pressure switch is not the problem......look for an air line leaking that runs to the fan.....had the same problem and after I think a million dollars found out an air line to the fan was leaking air causing the fan to stay on........smh

its in the shop now. will update with the answer as soon as i know.
btw - engine running, applied air from shop to fan - clutch did not disengage - will let you all know if this was only prour suggestionsblem

If you apply air to the fan and it does not disengage, the clutch is defective, stuck.
