Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Will do, not sure what day waiting on the bank to fund the loan
-
Do any of you ever figure real fuel mileage rather than using the truck computer?
-
Those of us that were driving before the dash board readout, I am sure the answer is yes.
My figures are from my laptop, which gets actual miles driven and fuel purchased, if thats good enough for you?

deming807 and dannythetrucker Thank this.

Just asked a question. From all the evidence in the previous post including the pics of the computer readout it seemed that was what everyone was using.
As far as being good enough for me I couldn't care less. You can count on your fingers if you want. -
Oh oh, someone got touchy and sensitive, and someone else left the door open and a freight hauler got in....

Posting number for 100% legal size and weight loads, all while hauling a box trailer, is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard in here.

Those Cascadias at Western Express (Nashville) were lucky to get 6mpg with a load. I was seeing 5.4-5.7, MT they were over 6. Heavy tractors too.
-
Isn't there a special division for you O/S - heavy haulers ?
this is a MPG thread in the regular flatbed forum, kapiesch ? What you're getting pulling 14' x 14' jive around isn't all that useful either.

Meh. I see left's point. But the bottom line is that MPG has more to do with tightening the nut between the steering wheel and the seat than anything else. Every truck has one, and most need tightening.
vikingswen Thanks this.
