Can you legally drive/ pull a trailer with a tire missing off the rim? I got a flat on a outside rim and dispatch is saying he'll get someone to pull it off and I can drive from NJ to MD
no tire on rim

No I would not do it.
Unsafe and puts all the weight on the one tire. -
Uh I'm sure you can't. Tires is what helps support that weight.
-
It is called singleing it out how could it not be legal there is no flat tire if no tire is on the wheel. FYI it is a wheel not a rim

It can safely be done. The load on that single tire, assuming you have a fully legal 34000 on the tandems, won't exceed the single weight rating of your average tire (approx 6000-6500lbs). However I wouldn't run like that any longer than necessary.

Here is a question for dispatch: If you can send someone out to take the tire off, why can't you send them with a new tire to put on?
