From the same angle, have someone take a picture of you posing with your knees steering the wheel, a cell phone in one ear leaning on your shoulder, a drink in one hand, and a burger in the other. Print out the picture and attach it in front of the camera...

 

You need to put eyeballs in your condo windows and a horn onyour truck (like a unicorn), and horn that tootles the song "One eyed one horned flying purple people eater" on it. Oh wait, that song is probably waaaaaaaaaaaaay before your time!!! lol

 

and what do you suggest to keep it from recording sound? I.E., private phone calls, etc. Excuse me, but am I the only one here that thinkd this is just plain wrong?

 

I can't really comment, bwaync, since Husband is no longer with them. ...other than to say he would not like it one little bit.

I was a driver manager for TransAm and was not impressed with this company at all. A lot of the other dm's do not care about their fleet drivers and are only there for a paycheck. Upper management is very poor and the leasing department misleads the lease operators. They do have nice trucks with APU's which are very nice to have.

 

I am still against the camera and fully intend to cover the interior camera lens whenever I am taking a ten. Just because some dumbnut backs into me in a truckstop or something doesnt mean thry should get to see me changing clothes ot something. The fact it can record me even if I am off duty or in sleeper berth is way too Big Brother for me. If they have a problem with the interior lens being blocked whileI am off duty, I will kindl let them know where they can take their truck and shove it.

 

I wonder if that was my last DM. That is dated a little more than a month after she quit/was fired and she was out of Rockwall. Shame, liked her. Then again, if she hadnt left, I wouldnt have my current DM wh totally rocks and is the person I wanted in the first place.

 

Lol yea that's crazy!!! And I think it has a mic inside the truck too.. Lol I would be looking for a new job!! Lol
