Tag Axle Question

    Do 20,000 lb. Tag axle's get permitted the full 20,000 or whatever the Tri axle limit is in that state from the D.O.T?

    lots of different types of tags out there that can be permitted for different weights.

    you cant permit a small 12k steerable tag for 20k

    I like to run Ontario and other States which only allow 12,000 on the steers. 12,000 lbs. Pusher axle would get me 20,000?

    Ontario allows more than a 12000lb steer,i no for sure you can have 14000lb,anymore imnot sure of

    You can go as high as 20,000# with enough axle and tire in Ontario.
