Dont Know What To Do

If through a temp service you could access their self service site, type in your info and print the last stub.

 

How were you paid, direct deposit or on a card they issue? What the name of the temp service ?

 

I wonder if they would be willing to make copies of the check stubs you need only. That will show what Alice needs or even just a copy of the last check from their history. Craig at Millis told me that was all he needed back in April of this year when I made my second attempt and should have taken. Those people at the employment service must be brain dead. Asking you for a check stub to give you your info. If you had that, you wouldn't need them. They shouldn't even need a stub for that, it should just take your social. Am I missing something?

 

Read shane's full statement first. I've never worked w/ millis... but Alice or same Temp Agency scaming, seems to be a problem. If were me I'd move on! and not give a single dollar out of pocket for this.

 

Its not millis doing it. Most companies use 3rd party hr services and that is who would verify employeement of a person. When i was hired was called back same day and told i would need a check stub or w-2 as the company i worked for used a 3rd party service.

 

That is annoying. I have two past employers who absolutely refuse to verify employment. They say anyone who wants to know about me has to go to TheWorkNumber.com. Then they basically hang up. I've worked around it by having job contacts who still work for those companies, but still, that's ridiculous. It makes the job applicant look like a liar.

If you dont mind me asking what is the name of the company? You can actually call the IRS and request you W2 and have them fax it to you for that year etc.... I know someone has probably mentioned this , but its a try. I will be starting Millis on Monday Sept 16 and it is rough but the mission must go on.... If you need anymore help Trust I am my brothers keeper NO DOUBT

Did the work number work for you, cause it did for me all you have to do is print it out and send it to the Millis Recruiter and its a go
