Slim, Congratulations, W/S is a good company to go to work for, From what I hear and read, I would certainly say that when you are there you are in a 10 day interview, treat it as such, If I was you and since you have the military back ground treat it like the 5th and 6th weeks of Basic, When you are being watch for every move you make, If someone comes in to class and asks for you to help push start their car be the first to jump up to help, if they ask you to help take the trash out of the offices then do it, They are checking on a constant basis and looking for those who will go beyond the norm to get things done, You being up in Wa. you will run a bunch up in the cold weather, But you will do fine. Learn all you can in Orientation and when you go to get in a truck, they don't mind you asking as many questions as you need to. Thank You for your service. Good Luck with W/S it is a starter company but not a bad one.

I love being out here and driving. It will absolutely get in your blood. Congratulations and thank you for your service. No matter what BS you may or may not have to put up with whatever company you go with, it's all about getting the experience. I've been driving for six months and am already starting to learn about more opportunities. Trucking is what you make it.

I wish I would have looked closer at some of the companies that offer tanker experience though. This is a big plus.

Congrats dude. Now you'll realize how much you actually do not know about trucking. (like me:biggrin_255:)
You'll realize that some things you've learned in truck school are meant to be broken by Watkins Trainers and am glad they did - to teach me how REAL driving looks like.
(Example: How to shift downhill or uphill)
