i think you need to change your bio, owner operator means you own your own truck, not that you drive someone else's .

    mje and MJ1657 Thank this.

I'm with you man, there's only room in this den for one bear ! I don't know how team drivers do it, sounds pretty much like my idea of hell.

I ran team for 3 years with a guy. His only fault, he gambled for hours and would cost us time and once almost a Labor Day Weekend + 2 more days in Boston. He was a good driver, did'nt whine and dependable hauling frrom OKC to LA. I could tell where we were when I woke up. We used the horn to wake ea other and a tire billy on the inside handle to close the door. Would run OKC-LA-OKC in 56 hrs. As for you, quit whining, quit smoking and quit drinking. Get out there and do the job. Buy some earplugs. I started on a 2 stick Mack, no AC, leaked 190 degree heat all summer and slush would hit you in the face in the winter from the holes in the floorboard. It was so loud your head throbbed but man it was trucking. I'd suggest you go flip hamburgers at the Golden Arches Supper Club and quit crying.

    I agree and disagree :)
From where I come from my family and I put a portion of our earnings in one pile and build it up, for many years. So another words these trucks are all of ours. We work together. So that's why I considered my self owner operator, my father runs it.. :)

    truckon Thanks this.

So you want us to believe your left shoulder won't allow your right shoulder to be a man?

If you quit your dad, can you take the truck and put it on another company? If "No", then you're not an owner operator. Sorry.
