Hi, I was on my way home last night from the store when I saw a truck come off the Interstate with his right side(passengers side) Side Box door ajar, It looked like there was stuff coming out of it, I tried to get his attention, I'm sure he was worried, It looked like he may have missed his exit and was going to lose more stuff out of it as he went right and then right again tore-enter the Highway, So I got out of my car(POV) and waved him down pointing to his side box with an open jester, He made his 2 turns and stopped on the side of the road and then I was gone, I assume he got out and closed the box door and went on his way. What would you have done differently or would you have even let him know about this, I'm sure there are others who saw this open, I'm sure it had been open a while? I have never had this situation but had it happened to me I would have appreciated the kindness of the guy helping me. Thanks.
Diid I do good a good deed or not?

mje and luvtotruck Thank this. -
You did good....He may have had something in there that would help him in a break-down situation....it's always a good thing to try and help out...as long as it can be done safely...kudo's to you!
luvtotruck, 48Packard and mje Thank this. -
Good job...would've done the same thing.
luvtotruck and mje Thank this. -
You did well driver. Glad there are still a few good people in the world. I don't see a problem with what you did. I have considered putting a radio back in my pickup for situations like this. And at least this driver stopped. Some drivers don't want your help and don't want you to inform them of problems. I told a guy the other night he had a tail light out. He told me to mind my own business.
mje, 48Packard and luvtotruck Thank this. -
