Trailer to haul up to 160,00 lbs 48 States?

It's more of brokers thinking.. Well we get 1.70 for flats.. That's not that much bigger .. So we should get it moved for 2.50. With no permits included. we need what? permits? whats that? And those that were in flats and step decks say wow 2.50 !! So they will jump on it. Or companies like TMC or swift think they can do it and will go out and buy a cheap RGN from some salesman that just got a bonus for moving that morphandike trailer. Then have one of their meat in the seat go pick up the load with grade 30 chain and are Absolutly clueless on how to load that load or tie it down. Leave the yard, dump the load on the ground, and WHO pays for it? The people who really haul heavy equipment that now will be hassled by the DOT cops. BUT wait for that 10,000 dollar ticket because of a bunch of incompetence and a meat in the seats big mouth telling the cop.. You can't do that..

 

5 bucks a mile for a 10? Are they crazy or just stupid? It should have been at least 10-13 a mile plus permits and any escorts. That price wouldn't even get me off the couch.. Or the dog.

 

Nothing is a surprise any more.. And some joker with a 9axle will think they can move it, just to get home. Some states that money could go just to permits. And if it has a ripper and blade.. 13 axle time.
