Good night from...

seems to be a trend forming with me..they send a prplan pretty quick and i'm almost always not able to do. then they make me sit for a day before giving me another.

 

2 loads this week....savannah ga to hurricane ut,then hurricane to Marysville wa...as straight of a line as possible...3450 miles lucrative....seeing this much of the country in a week?...priceless......next to start the week seattle to reno...fedex timed run...yeah...thata'll be fun,lol.....better get some sleep,eat my Wheaties,and down some coffee in the morning.....daddies got to run!

 

Big Cabin, OK. What I thought was going to be good is turning out to be crap now. Got loaded and asked how the fr8 is looking in Laredo, and was now told today, not real good. Maybe tomorrow better, maybe Friday better. Maybe, Maybe, Maybe. Also since it is in the load assignment of 1900 PTA on Friday, unless the DM can trick the computer some, will not be able to even MAC 30 until I get MT on Friday. Been there, done that, played this game before. Bait and switch and I am not being optimistic.

 

I was given a crap load for my first back, crap because of the time on it, it delivers in Phoenix on the 13th at 8am the good part its only 3700 lbs

Guess my interview went very well yesterday, I got a call today from the guy asking if I would be willing to accept starting as an assistant manager instead of a GM so they can train me and see what I can do and then move to the GM position based on how I perform, I said of course I would as long as moving up was an option. He asked if I put my app on their website and I said yep so he was going to pull my app and do a background check today and said if things go well he will call me in a couple days with an offer. It seems promising so far and I have nothing on my background so it should clear quickly. If I get an offer in a couple days then i will call up my DL and give my notice and hopefully they wont screw me by having me turn the truck in out of state since I dont know how I would get home, too much stuff for a greyhound, 2 suit cases, ice chest, bedding then a few odds and ends like tools and such.

Ended up getting another international today since I requested it over a volvo, the lady who had this truck kept it very nice and clean, it also has 4 mattresses lol, 3 on the bottom and 1 on top so its very comfortable. Only complaint is that it grinds every single time im trying to stick it in 2nd or 3rd gear to take off no matter what I do. Doesnt grind at all going down the road and shifts perfectly other than that.

 

wolfy...the international i had did the same thing. drove me nuts lol

 

yeah its driving me crazy since I never grinded those gears

 

the planner sent me the multi stop again. only have 15 minutes to go 25 miles. called dm and said they sent it back to me. said he call them and take off me. still haven't sent me a message saying so. sent a freeform saying to reset my pta for tomorrow morning. been waiting since noon ct and now its 1830.

 

this kensworth pretty nice. though i wish its turn radius was smaller lol. still trying to get used to that lol

 

sitting at a small pilot in springdale ar. no parking when i got here at noon. lucky i'm bobtail, parked out front with other bobtails

 

that pilot is a zoo(or a nightmare?) haha,but no other real options around there....
