One thing I do if I have an opportunity to help is take my d.o.t. Securement book with me when I talk to a driver. It helps because they dont think youre an arrogant know it all. Sorry but many guys come off that way. I just show them the pages they need, if they fix it great, if not pick up the phone. The securement guide should be a new flatbedders bible until they gain the experience they need. Heck after years I look at itoccasionally if I think its not right. When you think you know it all, is when you are in trouble.
