YOU have to deal with the produce people who can be really paticular at times.
They can reject the loads, (to hot to cold) and you are stuck.
Miss your appointment, they have issues with that.
Its not so much as pulling the reefer as it is dealing with the people. -
So what do you do If a company was to reject a load?
I was just wondering because I might be driving for TransAm in the future and I would not like to be caught in a situation like that.
Is the required temp on the paper work that you get from the shipper?
These may be dumb questions to you but I'm wanting to get into trucking and was just curious in case my first job is a Reefer.
One more question, other than keeping fuel in the reefer what else is there to make sure your load is good when you get to your destination? -
Only Difference is a Reefer Runs all day and night long, and when you sleep in Berth you can hear it, but I am usually so Tired I never notice it anymore....
