How not to get arrested while on the road.

1. If you are obtaining commercial company, do not call the police if they rob you or take items from the truck and tell the Officer that you just hired a prostitute and paid x$$$$$ for services and they took your money and you want police to get it back.
2. If you are told by security at truck stop to move your truck into a parking area. Please just do as they ask, the are the agent for the truck stop. If you refuse to move and police get called and you still refuse you will go to jail and truck will get impounded.
3. If you see a female you like and ask her out and she refuses your advances, DO NOT! go into the ladies room behind her and try to continue the romance and try to feel her up.
3.Do not get into a fight over a parking space and try to hit someone with a claw hammer and tell the Police you did not do it when your co driver is the one who called Police on you. And the hole event is caught on security camera.
4.Do not ask for drugs or other illegal stuff on cb radio. Police do listen.
5.If you must smoke spice or dope or bath salts or what ever do not run around in nothing but your underwear with your manhood hanging out of the fly and run up to the fully marked Police car and start beating on the window.
6.If you go to the truck stop bar do not drink so much that you soil your self and pass out face down in the parking lot.
7. If you have been drinking do not drive a commercial motor vehicle. And do not drive it under a well marked 10'-8" bridge and tell the Police it is not your fault.
8.If you get sleepy by all means locate a safe place to stop. Just don't shut down in the slow lane of a state highway with all you lights off and cause a serious rear end crash and state the guy leaving in ambulance hit me just to get insurance money.
9.If a Police Officer askes you to move your truck off the sidewalk. Don't tell them you don't have to because there are no signs saying you can't park on the sidewalk. When the Officer askes for your license to give you a parking ticket because you refused to move when asked nicely do not refuse. You will go to jail and the truck will get towed.
10.If Police see a wanted person get into your truck and they ask you to hand them over it might be a good idea to do so. If you make them get a warrant like you told the to, they will and you will go to jail with them for assisting a criminal .
11Any Police Officer can make a traffic stop on a commercial vehicle not just the Dot. So if they stop you for running a light etc. and asked for your license give it to the don't refuse and demand a Dot officer you will geet one While waiting for the transportation officer to take you to jail.
12.The Federal Marshals are not going to come to help you. Look up what they do.

 

Well I am the full time Police Officer and part time o/o all the above I have delt with in last 6 months. But I still think the majority of Truckers are good people.
