Not only did you pay it off you have kept it way too long. All the experts will say that an older truck will nickel and dime you to death. My truck is a 95 with over 2 mil mi so we must both just have dumb luck.

I think you are on to something with the common sense thing. Back when Starbucks was an unknown name I had a chance to buy a Starbucks franchise. I couldn't see how it would work because I didn't think anybody with any common sense would pay that kind of money for a cup of coffee. Same thing with Subway. I could have cornered a whole town back in the early 90's with average to below average food at astronomical prices but I thought common sense would tell people that the value wasn't there. Well both of these restaurants have swept the country. Same way with KR. He doesn't overestimate peoples common sense when it comes to trucking. I guess people WILL pay 2K for common sense techniques to save money all at one handy location. Congratulations to him for that I suppose.

The CMC is not really a "how to" seminar or collection of classes that teach you how to do something. Sorry so many do not understand, and I really don't have time to try to explain it to a bunch of people who are just going to use their brain power to put others down.

That's a shame. I have not put anyone down and would be interested in hearing what CMC is, beyond what I would expect to be a typical out-of-town business education workshop. I've attended many, and even hosted one or two (not in trucking, other than attending truck show sessions). It's a lot of work to put one on, and great to attend when they're done right.

If something I said led you to believe I was putting someone down I am sorry. I am saying that KR's information is not any kind of revolutionary insight. I am like Red Foreman. I would like someone to share something from CMC that is ground breaking advice and not attainable through the use of any number of free channels, as long as you are willing to listen to some marketing pitch. That might convince me to go. I believe what he is doing is collecting data that is readily available and charging for it like it is his intellectual property. There is nothing wrong with that! But if that is the case he has just hit you for 2K for bundling public information. That isn't putting anyone down, that is just stating what he does. In the end Red is right. You will value his commodity relative to what you paid for it (KR's own words). In other words for you to think it is of value, he HAS to hit you pretty hard for it. Marketing 101. That way you are both happy. He got your money and you walk away thinking you have now invested in the tools to succeed when you had them ALL THE TIME.
