sounds like your sucking air in the fuel, could be a bad fuel line, or pin hole in a fuel filter, this happened to me once. check the filters and go from there
-
Check the fuel filter housing, is there any fuel in the see through canister? I have the same issue when parked slightly uphill, I fill the fuel filter housing with diesel, it will start backup after a few seconds of turning her over. Could be sucking air somewhere as well.
-
may be fuel filter sucks air a bit
may be bad corroded wires/fuses in battery box under cab (below dr.side door) -
1st take RAD. cap off fill up. then restart
-
Thanks fellas just got it to fire up and remembered someone telling me the Detroits have this valve problem in the fuel line on top and behind the engine in the dog house where it don't hold the fuel anymore when u shut the engine off
-
You might need to look into the fuel lift pump.
-
If your referring to the fuel back check in the back of the head, they do go bad, but I never heard of them causing the symptoms your describing. if it were bad it would cause a hard start after engine was off for several hours not minutes. let us know what you find.

May be an injector or injector Oring check the oil level if it is getting higher .
