Ok, Admins edit this post if I am not in the right area. But I just got a call just awhile ago. From a recruiter that works for OO that work for FedEx custom critical. Looks like I am good to go just needing to find someone who has at least six months or longer OTR. Of course perfect record and everything. And has hazmat. And willing to be first seat and willing to team. I didn't have six months OTR recently. I have driven OTR just been awhile. Anyways would love to hear from someone interested in this. I live in Henderson, NV. So someone close to this area please respond. Thanks guys/gals.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Eric:
I am not your guy, as I am not yet trained, but if things don't change for you before I have my six months experience, maybe we can keep in touch. I keep seeing all the benefits to being a team, and I am wondering how to make the switch from solo to team when the time comes. I can see you have a lot of respect for FEDEX as well.
Right now, I am still searching for the right school/OJT for me. -
Well World, Thanks for your reply. And good luck on which company to get trained with. I have one if your interested and not afraid to work. You work two on and have two off. But its really hard work. And they do pay for your schooling and everything. But I am needing a job ASAP. Thanks though.

I am looking onto finding a team partner here in North Florida. I am starting driving school and will have my CDL in 8 weeks. If any one is looking for a partner let me know. Thanks

I personally believe this type of communication between training drivers is simply a sign of the times. Huge trucking corporations are pushing hard for team operations, "lease purchase" ( the training driver truly is not purchasing anything ... let alone making a living ), and O/Os. Finding a teammate on your own maybe a reasonable effort on the behalf of a young training driver. Many of the other options do not offer much of a opportunity for a positive outcome. Living in a tractor with someone who has little or no interest in your personal well being or the success of your short term career, could be a fatal career move, as well as a personal nightmare.
