To the person that posted a remark about getting the shipper or receivers phone normal. Having that information should solve the direction problem as long as the shipping or receiving clerk knows how to give decent directions. I work for a poultry trading company and often tell drivers to call shippers and receivers. A couple of places that are hard to find we have a word document with detailed directions. I rarely have a driver complain about directions. Maybe 1 out of 200 loads.

Pulled a C H Robinson load out of central FL to VA. Load paid $1400. Found on the shipping paper they were paying C H Robinson $1650 on 800 miles.

If you get a load confirmation from one of the branches of C H Robinson and it doesn't have that office phone number on it, you will have to talk to the call center robots that don't know anything about trucking, or the load it self.

Picked up a load out of NC where the decking was water, sun, snow proof. I ask why does this have to be tarped? They told me because C H Robinson sales man pushed the price up with a tarp and some receiver complained that if they have to pay for a tarp then it should show up with a tarp.

You are lucky to get paid that amount, so be happy, normal CH Robinson loads would have paid you like 800-1000 on a FL load. They make around 40%, so just think if you get more than 60% your lucky.

we have been hauling for CHRobinson for about 2 years now and of course for other brokers, too. I can tell that we had very good experiences so far. They have a very low discount for quick pay, they pay fast and many times they have better prices than other brokers for the same load. I would love to have all our loads with CHR... but they don't always have the loads we need.

How much does CH pay to pull various customers trailers? I do not have my own yet and so it will be strickly drop and hook for me in the foreseeable future.

College educated without an ounce of common sense. Where did you get your customer service training?
