Cheap cigarettes

In Kearney Mo yesterday at the Pilot a Driver bough 4 Cartons...
He said they are at least 4x as much at Home...didn't ask him where that was.

Makes me think I should start smoking since the Cigs are soo cheap in my Home State of Misery.

 

in the long run, it does not matter how cheap you buy them, they will cost you everything you have...health, happiness, seeing the grand children, seeing family and friends...it is time to make the choice to quit...and good luck in doing so

How much is a pack/carton of these things? I had no idea. How many miles a week does one need to drive to fuel this habit? I'm just thankful I never followed into anyone's footsteps with that deal. I still vividly remember to this day when my mom. dad and myself heard the news from the doctor that the cough my old man developed was a direct result from the spot they found on his lung, 8 months later he was being lowered into a grave. That was 33 years ago when he was 52.

I was about to suggest duty free shops at ports of entry. Good option if you move between US-CA. Also helps if you know anyone that does frequent international air travel or may be going on a cruise. Limit is one carton per person at customs. I've gotten through with two. Worse they will do is confiscate. Or maybe you have some non-smoking friends along to carry them for you. They're usually too busy looking for large amounts of cash or Cuban cigars to be bothered with an extra carton of Marlboros.

 

I think some of the people here are confused. See, I smoke for your health, not mine. I'm a huge jerkwad when I don't have my little ciggie treats, you fail to realize how many bombings, school shootings, murders, etc... could have been prevented with a few Marlboro's. And you can't really put a price on that, now can you ?

I once had a doctor tell me that he wasn't going to lecture me because people who smoke meant job security for him.

 

My grandpa smoked till the day he died at 93, he always told everyone that at that age life in general was just a pre-cancerous condition for him
