I am wondering if there are factory type curtains for the windows available for the Columbia. I see recesses in the trim where it looks like tracks may go along with some predrilled holes. So looks like it may have been an option on it. I would rather have those curtains than the standard sleeper curtain. But cant find anything on the net for them other than the generic types but would rather have the ones on the track.

We got our replacement track and clips through silent gliss- just google it. The various dealers we went to looked at us funny when we asked about them. Also rv shops have systems available that fit nicely .

I was thinking about getting those myself, the tracks look the same as the

Ok here's what I did. I drive a 2001 columbia condo. I went to freightliner first to get the shock of my life on the price of all of what I needed and quickly went to Plan "B".
1. Went to Walmart and bought the material I bought a heavy canvas style material (black was all they had but thats ok) I believe the material comes in 6' widths but thats too short you need about 10' per side because the curtains aren't pulled straight you don't stretch em at home. So buy the material approx 20' cut it in half then fold it over to have a 2 length 3' wide. 10' long Doubling it up gives you a real good heavy curtain to last. Have someone sew it up
2. Buy the track 2-8' lengths ordinary curtain rod. you can get this a Walmart or any store that sells hardware.
3. Bend the track to get it to fit in the recessed spot above your head this is the tricky part but yes it can be done I did it. once the track is bent to fit use self tapping screws with a fairly wide head on them and put them on either side of the track catching the small lip. Every 12" or 18" is ok.
4. Once the curtains are sewn up what you have is 2-10' lengths 3' wide put in the curtain hooks approx. 6" apart they generally come with the rods if not Wally world has them. Install the track with rollers. Hang up the curtains and just tie them back with one of those tiny elastic cords with the hooks on each end (looks like a tiny bungee cord) you know what I mean. Put the cord around the curtain thats already there the one that goes across in front of the bunk and put it around the one that you just put up and hook it together. There tied back.
Approx cost of every thing $50.00 <--- this is buying everything new
This may be alot lower if any of you already have any of the materials
I hope my description above is clear.
Good luck -
Has anybody else had any success on this yet?

I bought a set of windshield curtains with tracks and hooks, that came off a Cascadia. Since I didn't know if they were going to fit, I offered them $20. They fit perfect, including the tracks.
austinmike Thanks this. -
These are a great option too if you decide to skip the OEM option.

I went to the fabric store and got some black fabric and some little clip thingys at my first gig. Mega too cheap to spring for curtains. Did the job for just a few bucks.
