Tore one up. It was green. Replaced it with a gold one. Is there a difference other than the color? I was told a green one might be for ABS trailers and tractors. I know there is $20 difference in price!

Green are for ABS. I know the black ones are without ABS, but have never seen a gold one.

I have been running a gold one for a few days. Today's trailer showed the idiot light in my dash that the trailer ABS wasn't working. Others have been fine.

Got the gold one at Pilot.

There is a yellow (gold?) one called a ISO plug but it won't fit a regular trailer connection. I never saw a standard gold one either.

Need a green one? got a new one in the bag......

I have a green one in a bag too. Just didn't want to install it if it wasn't needed.

If I remember correctly, the green one's have a larger power wire to avoid voltage drop should the ABS activate the modulators, which draw a enough current to justify the larger wire. Look at the conductor sizes listed on the outer sheath and see if they're the same as the green one.
