hey all i,ve got my cdl by studying the manual and taking my driving test at the community college cause they have a tractor trailer there and i had my cdl 4 years now first job was driving a bucket truck for a tree service co. for 3 months then layoff for christmas now im working for a defense contractor driving a ton duelly with a 20,000 lb vw axel rating for a year and half i been trying to get into the tractor trailer jobs locally but they keep telling me i don,t have no experience and i have to take a refresher course at the trucking school which is 1800.00 for 2 or 3 wks. which i don't have. i thought about signing on with one of these trucking company and let them train me but i dont know which one cause i been hearing and reading alot of bad stuff on them on how they are treating their drivers. if you know a good company that treat drivers right please let me know. thanks and ROLL TIDE

Maverick doesn't require a refresher course.

Paschall Truck Lines might hire you & their refresher is $1500.00 but free if you stay 12 months.
