Glad your husband got this taken care of. Things happens sometimes just because, but hopefully he will take care in the future.
I road with my husband from 2008-2009 and we saw many accidents which could have maybe been avoided just with the if... seat belts fastened, slowed down, thought before doing, 5 min of time might have saved a life. We've also seen what happens after a wrecks and what people will do;;; people trying to go over medians and get mired in mud so they aren't held up in traffic, don't blame them for not wanting to be held up, just stupid though to end up stuck and no way to get out, and then the best is when traffic is slowed down and someone comes barreling through thinking they are going to get somewhere.
I have seen posted on TTR where drivers said in the old days they would keep cans of spray paint in flat black, yellow and orange, etc with them just in case they did scrape something.
How many preventables before disciplinary action?

Happy to see all is working itself out for you both. Tell him to slow down and take that extra look before moving in the future.

It wouldn't hurt to get through Springfield and take the Smith Systems class.
I always stress developing good habits. Using the mirrors every time you make a turn is a good habit.
Good luck. -

Mam, I normally like to deal in facts only and since I rarely post lately you may not know me. But I want to help ease your fears in a way that have not been addressed yet. Robert low is a fair man. Not perfect but in my experience fair. He is a business man as I am and so we are driven by profitability, which in trucking includes safety, mileage, in a word efficiency. We want our employees to succeed it costs to much to just hire and fire. In trucking there are expenses we accept and those we can't. A bent rim can be absorbed as can a dent here or there. Being late, rolling a truck or hitting something that brings a property or injury claim cannot. Your hubby needs to make sure his mph is as high as possible and always be on time. Secondly he needs to be cautious in every maneuver. If your worries are still high have him talk with fm as the fm is watching the profitability of his truck.

I meant mpg not mph that would be counter intuitive
