KE5DWP I think you're one of these "seasoned drivers" who keep getting points and refuse to change, so of course you're going to be hostile against those who say things you don't want to hear.

Out with the old, in with the new. Good riddance.

    mje Thanks this.

11 years? Old driver?......Don't insult the drivers that's been out here for 20, 30, 40 years.

As far as CSA score? Perfect score...no warnings, no nothing.

    Next.....

    mje and pattyj Thank this.

It's naive to think that Werner doesn't have any good drivers. Every company has their share of drivers that are excellent, and for whatever reasons have not moved on. As for having names on a wall, that's a fairly common practice as it's inexpensive and makes people feel appreciated. Bash all you want, it's likely there are a significant number of drivers with Werner that are seasoned and probably better than 85% of the other drivers out there for any company.

He has the same attitude as every mega company has,out with the old in with the new and FMCSA.To keep the poverty pay down for companies and FMCSA thinks the veterans are the worst and set a bad example for those perfect new drivers. They all want fresh new blood out there.

    KE5WDP and mje Thank this.

Big Box carriers will post in their ads looking for experienced drivers but that's crap,,,they want someone who has no idea what a truck is so they can put them in their driving schools, pay them crap for about 90 days for TRAINING, with a trainer and brain wash them into doing it their way,,NOT THE OLD WAY

So you're saying companies want to make the drivers their own personal robots?I can not believe that.

Believe It when trucks can and they will, be driven by actual robots :biggrin_255: the swifts et al will be first in line.....the driver is a commodity., a number on the side of the trucks,,,,,they just tested a car that drives itself and it worked fine,,its coming,,,,believe it.
