I see a lot of drivers in here who call the Jacksonville, Florida area home and I have a question for you: Where do you park your truck on your days off? I live in Atlantic Beach, just got hired on with Roehl and I am looking for a "secure location" to park my truck and trailer when I am home. Any input from locals would be great. I see NO TRUCK PARKING signs everywhere and have been wondering where all the good parking spots are.![]()

maybe at your local Wal-Mart? or K-Mart

I don't no if you are driving the 7/3 7/4 but i was told it's slip seat and you leave the truck at the dock in Jacksonville......maybe someone who no's better can chime in..

I'm going National, so I won't be slip seating. I looked into an RV storage lot and just paying the monthly fee, but the largest spot is 40ft. There is a park-and-ride lot across the street that I see tractors parked in, but it's not big enough for a trailer. I guess Wal-Mart might be an option.

He said that he's personally met and talked to Sam Walton, and Sam did not want truckers kept out. He wanted his stores accessible by everyone. That's why he built them along interstates. Walton's snot-nosed children are the ones running truckers out. The nasty-truckers that throw their garbage out on the ground and doing other things, doesn't help.. -
Walton also only wanted American made products sold in his stores!
