I'm not going to take the survey, Why don't you thik about the location, If it was a good location don't you think someone else(BEACON) would have put one there already? And to the touchless it won't clean a truck good enough to have repeat business you will see your numbers drop below break even after a few months.

I have one of those big green extra soft brushes with the extendable handle....I keep it clean and fresh water and soap in a 5 gallon bucket.
    Works like a charm.
Napa sells some good aluminum brightener in gallon jugs that can be cut 50/50 with water.
In a spray bottle it does great on the tanks.
I figure it costs me about 5 bucks to wash the tractor and rinse with my pressure washer.

    luvtotruck Thanks this.

I wouldn't use it, simply because we deal with it in Denver, but, regarding these other comments. We've had companies come out and do on-site washes for years, they always do a crappy, lousy job and us drivers gripe about it. Been going to Blue Beacon @ Pilot for the last two months, no complaints at all. First wash, after nearly a month without, they spent about 25 minutes on the truck with high pressure wash and a brush on the worst areas (mirrors, windshield, grill, cab/sleep fairing and grab bars), had them apply the full rain-x treatment. I can say the difference was night/day over the old way of washing the trucks, and having them do the full rain-x treatment has made it much easier to get the truck clean thereafter. We are going back to a mobile service in two weeks (we'll see how they work out) simply because they charge $15.00/truck vs. $42.50 at the Beacon.

Unless my trk is absolutely deplorableI wait till I get home and have this wash do it.The business is nothing to look at but they do an outstanding job.Cost $5.00 more but well worth it..Not saying this wash doesn't do well but I would want them to spend longer then 8 to 10 min.

Have you considered having DIY wash bays alongside a full service bay?

Will there be "other services"? :biggrin_25519:

    No, lol, seriously.
I don't come through there too often but I would stop for a truck wash there. The Beacons through NE and WY are usually crowded and the quality is hit and miss. If i'm going to wait that long it should be clean ya know?

I hand wash mine or hit a small truck wash that will do it for less than the blue without the wait.

Thanks for all the input guys (positive AND negative)! Mrs. Leadfoot and I appreciate it.
I don't know why the Streakin' Beacon (or others) hasn't put a wash up.. seems to make sense to me (intersection of two major interstates, plus at least one major distribution center -- Wal-Mart -- in the area that I'm sure requires trailer washouts).
    Regardless, thanks again.
