    I see by your screen name you haul super size loads I think,anyway how long have you had to wait for a certain permit?

    depends on the size and weight and state. from 30 min to 3 days sometimes 2 weeks.

    It started with guys getting smaller permits to be able to run in curfew. Within the last year the OSP has been pulling us over to make sure that the measurement of the load matches the permit.

    I never order permits until I can actually measure the load. I have had several instances where the shipper makes a mistake on the dimensions. I often will also add an extra inch or two just to be safe.

    prety sure jumbo meant they got the permit to say smaller so they woudnt have do deal with the curfew.
