Let me know what kind of shape your aero truck is in after a million or better miles. Simple point of fact, they're not built to the same level of durability or fit and finish.

Simple point of fact is you are making a blanket statement that isn't remotely true.

Really,so my t600 is not the same as a w900? How so? Same cab & sleeper from the firewall back.Yes it has a fiberglass hood but it also has 1.1 million on it with no problems as far as fit & finish. I am on my 3rd t600 since 87. I have had a 87,a 95 & my current one is an 03. I buy the t6's because I like them. They ride good, they handle good & have good maneuverability.

I pull acid trailers, and I get the same MPG in my Columbia as the 379s in our fleet. When you're pulling and a sled, the aerodynamics of the tractor will not make any difference.

I've always wanted to drive a T600 KWSwan. I would buy one!

Good friend of mine has an 03 T600 with 1.4 million on it, it is holding up just as good as my W9, with the exception of the side skirts needing a little TLC at times to keep them from flopping around.

We have two aero trucks in the fleet..both are t660 daycabs. I run a W/S 4900ex. I'm getting a little better fuel mileage than they are. Its all in how ya drive it.....drive it like there's a rotten plum under the throttle, ya get good mpg. Drive it like ya stole it, well, you get the point. We run the same routes pulling the same weight with identical trailers. When youre dragging 53000 up mountains all night, aerodynamics mean squat..BTW, iced coffee sucks lol

Mine has the one piece skirt at the front so it isn't bad.My 95 had the full length 3 piece on each side & it got to be a a pain with them so I removed the middle & back sections.

First trip in the new hood (FL classic xl). I miss my Volvo! Boy, this is a lot more truck. I may miss the Volvo less when I start pulling loads again next week...bobtail/mt trailer were not making me fall in love. Also has all these gauges and switches...I am not sure what all of them are for, and am being careful not to accidentally press the "self destruct" button that I am certain is hidden among all the other clutter on the dash... :biggrin_25524:
