Does any body know if a CAT in a freightliner had any issues specific to it being in a freightliner? I.E. electrical, cooling, etc, besides the typical C-15 complaints. There don't seem to be a lot of CAT in columbias?

CAT and Freighliner parted ways because CAT didn't want to allow Freightliner to get a piece of the engine money pie. Also the OEM's felt that CAT was adding too many sensors to the engine and it was hard to keep up with. The only problem I had before with freightliner had to do with speedo issues and its affect on shutting the engine down if the signal was erratic off of the transmission.
