DL contacted me today asking if things are going well and then he fixed my pta for me and got me a load out of Oregon. I am picking up at API in Tuarlatin, OR and tcalling it in Willows, CA since it doesnt deliver until the 23rd in Woodland. Says to deliver by 13:30 tomorrow but will see how my hours are and get it there tonight to be ready for another load around 8am. I am already at the shipper but im early so they are allowing me to sit at the edge of the lot until they are ready for me. I had to pick up an empty at the daimler drop yard in Portland and finally got me a nice brand new trailer again, just too bad this is a drop haha. Seems everytime I get a new trailer I get a drop but I keep the crappy ones and do live loads/unloads for a week lol.
Side note the job I was waiting for fell through this morning so you guys are stuck with me for awhile
They claim they will keep me in mind for an opening in the area but I wont get false hopes up.
Good night from...

Conver, NC. Or is it Conyer. I do not know. PU PLDD trailer, then I will have 29 hours to get 711 miles with 18 hours on my 70. It was taken off me again at 0430 and back on at 0600. Computer keeps showing that I will be late. I figure that even avg 50mph, it will only take 16 hours. I guess that it is a Ultra Focus load. At least it is all interstate the whole way.

You should be good on that load. Getting loaded now, asian guy on the dock is a bass, told me to dock then come inside so I did then he ask "what do you want?" I told him he told me to come in and his response "I have 10 more minutes before I load you so go back outside sheesh" ummm ok I will keep cool

Kankakee, IL at the Love's.
I think I got on the wrong side of some planners last night.
They kept sending pplans that didn't give enough time, and I kept adjusting the times in Mac9.
They were all t-call's from the Columbus terminal.
Finally I went to sleep.
Then around midnight they send another, and I ignored it until I woke up.
This one was a regular load, so I accepted it after adjusting the times a bit.
Then I sent a message that I needed an mt.
And I waited.
Sent another message, a DM again replied that they messaged the planners.
Waited.
Called Fontana, they sent a message.
Waited.
Sent a Mac22.
Waited
4 hours later I finally get directions to an mt.
When I sent the first message I went on-duty and did my pre-trip so I could head for the mt asap.
So this 350 mile load ended up eating my entire 14 before I could deliver.
They knew it, too.
An hour before I got to my fuel stop (here, 15 miles from final) they sent a message:
Delivery rescheduled with a window until tomorrow at 0500.
That gave me just enough time to get here and shut down for 10 before delivering in the morning.
I bet they were laughing their behinds off from what they put me through today. -
coca cola took 4 hrs to unload me. got a preplan to go drop my mt at houston terminal and do 3 trailer drops at walmart in baytown texas. with all the rain and a few crashes, was able to drop 2. oh...trailers were picked up at the xtra rental yarf few miles from houston terminal. made it back to the pilot with 30 minutes left on my 14. not alot of miles driven, just time consuming
-
that sucks moose, I got a response for a mt within 10minutes and then drove 42 miles to get it.
Those coke loads suck, they always take forever to unload you. It rained a lot here in Oregon too and cars dont seem to know how to drive in it, after fighting traffic a lot of the way I decided to just shut down at my fuel stop in Roseburg. Will get up and take off around 6:30 and I should be able to still deliver early for the tcall. I wont have as many driving hours left tomorrow but maybe I can get something to at least pick up and drive a couple hours before shutting down again. Just glad im leaving Oregon area for the weekend, at least in Willows, CA area I have more chance at getting loads on a weekend. -
got stacked with 3 preplans. trailer move again to walmart, then pick up a load there gping to tcall at oklahoma terminal this afternoon. the last one was taken off as soon as i ccepted the first 2. was headed west lol
-
Get ready for the WalMart blitz. Expect parking at terminals to be at a premium as we store their trailers till almost Thanksgiving.
-
well...baytown walmart is getting ready. saw alot of drivers at the xtra lease lot picking up trailers too.
