Yes you are an employee at the successful completion of your "class-room" training. However you MUST graduate the OTR training as well. Yes we do loose some students during this part due to inability to handle the truck/road/life etc. Most decide on their own that the job is not for them. We as trainers will do everything we can to help you make it - however you as the student must do your part also.
So dont truly consider yourself an employee until you are driving away in your own truck. - Just saying.....

Hey guys just checking in. I am doing great over at JRayl. I drive regional for them mostly east coast but some south also. Been getting home every weekend just like before. But now it takes me 7 minutes to get home instead of an hour. good for me, bad for my battery in my personal truck lol. So far i have been making double what i was making at millis.in fact i am making more on this regional route than i did when i was OTR with millis. crazy what a little time and experience can get ya. So that is the good news. only real complaints i have are the trucks are way older and have no fridge, and i had to learn a new e-log system called peoplenet. but other than that i am doing good. now if we could only get that #### old house sold. I hope everyone is doing good.

Millis has such well-equipped trucks, I wonder why they don't include an APU and inverter. I hate idling to stay cool in summer. It's so environmentally unwise.

Anybody here been to kroger dc in Indianapolis? Just curious if they turn you away if your early. Or if they have parking. No numbers to call..

powderblue, yes they will turn you away if your early and no parking. Pilot and Flying J aprox. 8 miles away on 465. Also they use lumpers ( Millis has an account with them ) although the lumpers suck when they get you empty as far as bringing you your paperwork.
