It was just unexpected. I knew AL had a NO SUNDAY law, but we have a blanket permit for MS and I just happened to look at it and notice the NO SUNDAY MOVEMENT ALLOWED.... ugh

Not a big deal I guess since I don't reload in VA till Thursday morning anyways and I can deliver this anytime. Just puts me in Atlanta at about 15:30 on monday and I was hoping to avoid that and be there around noon. Oh well, I guess I will just sleep in tomorrow. Thankfully I'm at a descent stop, granted i wanted to make Tuscaloosa....

Everyone should have at least 1 day off per week. In my opinion, all drivers should have 36-48 hour per week AT HOME.

My wife agrees with you. And I have to start listening to her more. I'm just trying to get my savings built back up before winter hits and freight takes a crap again. Luckily I have leads on steel moving around the home 20 for this winter, just have to perfect on my tarping skills lol

If you have the opportunity to bank some cash, I would do so. I am seeing some signs about the economy that make me uncomfortable. When you couple that with over capacity in the open deck/specialized market, it could be an ugly winter. I am not pessimistic by nature, but things have me concerned right now.
