Worst truck stop you have been to

Agreed. These are not even truckstops to me anymore. Most have no driver lounge anymore, no private pay phones (as I sometimes use), no tv, no loadboard, and no separation at many from the public and drivers. Never enough parking.

 

Also, a lot of decent ma an pa truckstops have become extinct due to the Flying hook, Pilot, and Loves. I go by these former truckstops and nothing there anymore or a hotel built over them. There used to be lots and lots of small truckstops in the Carolinas and Ga. but have gone by the way. Yes, Ky has some cheesy truckstops on I-65 and so does Ga that are Indian owned.

 

Pilot in San Antonio....... Great parking with wonderful service !!!!! Ok...J/K!! All the PeeLots have gone to crap as with most truck stops.
Close to where I live there is a PFJ and another Pilot ( old Williams ) Xt 89 I-24 Oak Grove, KY. Most of the time I see open parking spots at night where you can get into. There is another Pilot xt 86. Not much for food there.... Dennys at PFJ with Subway and wendys at the other Pilot. You can walk to McD's or Awful House...... If you bobtail head south down 41A to where the Wal Mart is there are some joints in the strip malls there you can eat at..... 2-mexican and a china buffet joint with a Sonic across the street and if you need smokes Mapco is there also. I know some places where you can get a bobtail in real close to the T/S if you need other stuff. Shoot me an I/M if your in the area

The only "truck stop" in Orlando, FL. What a complete turd hole.

 

North 40 is a good stop. They do have showers and they are pretty clean too.

Exxon exit 346 I35 Texas is a dump. Church's Chicken its connected to is just as bad.

Soda fountain looked like it had not been cleaned in months and there were no napkins to be found. Minor but it makes you wonder about the kitchen.

Shower in truck stop had dead bugs on the bathroom floor and what I would call vegetation laying on the shower drain. I really am not sure what it was.... No shower head just a pipe sticking out of the wall and the sink was stopped up. O

On the plus side there is hardly anyone here so it is a place to get a quiet nights sleep.

 

I don't remember where I was, I think it was in southern Colorado. And the facilities were actually clean. The reason I will not stop there for fuel is the visual I received while I was there. Nice looking female climbs out of the truck, and pours her 5 gallon bucket of piss under her truck in the fuel isle!

 

Another shining example of the modern day truckdriver.
