My 710 keeps giving me an "navi.exe error and must shut down" error. I've tried to run the diagnostic from the dock and it always repairs 2 files which seem to reset all my preferences to the defaults. It seems to come when I have multiple stops programmed in. How can I fix this issue?

Just used the trade up program to get the 720, but I did not get any information on how/where to send the trade in GPS or how to identify it.
I expected either an email or instructions in the box, but nothing.

On my 710, there are Walmart's in Ga and SC that I deliver to which were never a problem. The main software and Map update that came this year changed that. Now going to stores in Laurens, Sc and Dahlonega, Ga on the same roads that I traveled before say not legal routes can be found. I have to switch it to car mode to make it route me the main routes.

On my 710, after the latest updates, my realtime traffic antenna always starts off as OFF and I have to remember to switch it on. If I power the unit off, the traffic reverts to off again once I power back up. Is there a way to fix this so that it remembers that I want it on?

I have the 710 set to fastest route, yet I have noticed since the latest map updates that it often will route me much longer routes, sometimes hundreds of miles out of the way, when there are wonderful interstates that would take me directly there. It will also send me in opposite direction of where I need to go on a smaller road rather than on the main US hiways. Any idea why?

Please don;t get me wrong with all the problems, my Rand Mcnally is still the best GPS I have used for my truck. I have used the competitors products and I much prefer the Rand mcnally. They have implemented things I have suggested in Tell-Rand and even just the fact that they HAVE the tell Rand feature is great. I have no way to report these things on the other GPS's.

When heading West on Us-78 on the east side of Atlanta, as you approach I-285 you must exit right to go in either direction on I-285, yet the junction view shows a picture of staying left on my TND710. The voice says stay right. You have to make it through this exit right before you have to choose to stay left or right to go in your desired direction on I-285. This can be very confusing of you don;t already know how the exit works, since the junction view is showing staying left (on US-78).

With the Latest update the seem to have removed the Actual NAMES of the streets you are exiting to from the Interstates. Now it just shows the exit numbers. I liked it the way it was where it showed the exit number AND name of the street.

"W Avenue H" in Lancaster CA doesn't exist in the rm maps. It recognizes "avenue h" but not the 3501 address. There are a couple distribution centers here and they don't seem like new construction so I'm not sure whats up...

We cannot create the routes your TND is taking you. Do you have any roads set to avoid? If you are computer savvy I can tell what file to rename to check this out.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Start Walmart Distribution Center, 655 Pipeline Rd, Monroe, Ga. - End Walmart 2513 Dahlonega, Ga. Result, get No Legal Route can be found. If you switch to Auto, it will route you the way trucks all go there or come back.

I now have both the 710 (as my backup) and my 720. The Realtime receiver always reverts off on the 710 after a power down/recycle. Support is replacing the dongle for compatibility with the 720
If I change the freeways =prefer then it will not route me on a direct route cross county, but seems to always route me out to the main interstates, which adds MANY more miles in many cases. If set to always allow then it will route me out the main walmart DC in Monroe, out back country roads to I-20 even though I need to head in the opposite direction to I-85.

I also have seen that in the last map update there are some routes showing as no truck routes. For example in Columbus,OH route 104 shows as trucks prohibited and it's not true.In New York on I-90 there are 3 truck stops in the indian reservation at exit 58 and to get to them you have to go over a bridge on roue 20 after you pay the toll. The bridge on the GPS shows as no through trucks due to weight restriction but there is no weight restriction on that bridge and instead of being routed to take exit 58 ( going west ) you are taken to the next exit 59 which is about 10-15 miles away to take route 20 back to the truck stops another 10-15 miles and you still have to go over the bridge.

yes I am computer Savvy. I can tell you in Dahlonnega, Ga. The TND use to try and route me right through the middle of Downtown, but it clearly states no trucks allowed, you have to take the bypass. It's because of teh old mines under the town.
