After 3 years depending on the offense youre record could be clean? If not it is possible that you could apply to the court to get it expunged.
You said you have your CDL, So if you sift through the forum you may find some companies that will accept you. Without being rude to you you may wish to have a professionally orchestrated resume' and send it to those companies your are interested in working with.
As to the 1 tone and a trailer, what do you intend to haul and do you have contracts? You will also need to get your DOT and MC authority and follow all CDL requirements including but not limited to,DOT Physical, Log Books, Stopping at Scales, Hours, and a Sleeper. Although a few on here will tell you differently the key is you will be for hire and are required to follow CDL rules.

Now the accident! Did you get a ticket and was it in a car or truck, Although you only have your CDL license, you may be lucky most Non CDL tickets don't go against your CDL. Fingers Crossed.....
