Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

Anyone else getting red lights at pretty much every open scale? I know I sure am.

 

Guys our CSA score is absolutely in the toilet! This is why all the red lights, all the guys and gals that think that the speed limit don't apply to them and people not keeping their logs right. Oh and all the people that don't bother with their pretrip.. I'm not some egotistical planted in the field company guy, I'm a driver here just like the rest of you. I'm simply saying that the stupidity and laziness of a few is effecting us all..all the things that people are getting points for are stupid, these thing are all part of their #### job. The way I see it , if you half ##### do your job you should be fired or quit. Everybody is always griping and complaining about no miles or "I'm getting screwed". If the truth be known these are the people that are responsible for our crappy CSA score. Remember people ,Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of highly intelligent direction and skillful execution !!

 

Thankfully the loop we run, most of the scales are closed... There are two that pull in EVERY truck... So we haven't noticed any increase...

 

Yeah, for a couple weeks I was red-lighted at every other coop, but the past week has been all clear.

 

You reminded, me, Ive been meaning to mosey around our CSA info. Just did, you aint kidding, some of these violations, are just inexcusable. Im still reading/being amazed.

 

This has really been getting on my nerves lately. I'll pass a company truck doing 65 in a 70. 3 miles later the speed limit drops to 55 to go through a short city and supertrucker central comes by me with his foot still to the floor. It's one thing to push the speed limit a little, but 7 over in a CMV is nothing to play with. For the record, I have not yet contributed one point to that skyrocketing CSA score, even with 3 inspections. It's not that tough to keep your nose clean out here.

 

I'm always red lighted in Oregon. In Washington, I usually get 1 or 2 red lights, but a number of green ones. Last trip I crossed 4 scales (made 2 trips up and back), 3 were open. 1 pulled me in.

 

The Unsafe Driving at 66.9% is a real worry but getting the RED LIGHTS might also have to do with the the Controlled Substance & Alcohol at 57.4%

 

I only have 3 points to the csa. And that's thanks to the dumb as! Who hit me and gave me a non preventable. And i still got CSA points from it. Because it was a "towable" accident because the dumbo flipped his pickup. I talked to someone at fmcsa though. He said something's in the works where you can challenge a accident for at fault or not. But it's not there just yet.

 

Wait, we're NOT supposed to be drunk and high out here?! But I drive goodly when I drunk.
